In my last holiday I had wandered around Quarry Bay, the district where I lived in. Quarry Bay is a district with many characteristics. It was one of the earliest developed district in Hong Kong, which was the Far East base of the Swire Group. Today it is a Middle Class community, as well as a Modern Commerical hub. Near the Taikoo Place there is the "Lan Kwai Fong" of the Eastern District. However, there are also a small Grass-root old community nearby, as well as an Industial zone declined as Hong Kong Industry.
In short, Quarry Bay is a Mini-Hong Kong, a district with strong contrasts. The contrast would be a sign of Hong Kong's worsening Rich-Poor gap. And probably I would write an article about this district on InMedia.
Anyway, just start to enjoy the photos!
